BTW - on another note, I won another comp today, a Nokia 5800 in the Pepsi comp. I can finally replace my crap phone! Hurrah!

Y'know you gaiz did the bloody-covered outfits a few expos back? I vaguely remember you saying you'd made the fake blood yourselves, how did you make it, was it easy, and did it wash off easily?
I might be doing a shoot with fake blood soon-ish, so I wanted to know what was a better option than the regular stuff as it's usually really difficult to get off. If not i'll just use paint as it's easier, but you gaiz have skills, so...8D

The world doesn't just disappear when you close your eyes.
To make that stuff, you need syrup, red food colouring, green food colouring, either flour or casting sugar and hot water.
Basically, pour all the syrup out into a jug or something, then add some of the red, then some of the green, until you get it the right sort of dark red colour you want, add hot water and mix it all up, then add a little flour to make it thicker, but i'm not sure the flour is always necessary.
and just keep mixing until its as thick and as red as you want it.
the stuff is good because you can eat it and it's not bad xDD
it /does/ come off clothes, we got it off all our white gear just by putting it in the washing. and it came off my jeans the time after that, but my advice is to not wear something that it would matter too much if it doesn't come off. because i think it is fine on any sort of fabric, but i'm not too sure. it came off easy for us though.
it is /really/ sticky though. just a warning xDD
